How you can manage to blame Bush in this is beyond me. Heck he has SUBSTANTIALLY INCREASED the funds available for veterans. My personal opinion is a lot of the money has gone to building NEW facilities closer to where the Veterans actually LIVE. We have 2 new ones down here where I live. I suspect Walter Reed was due for an overhaul as funds presented themselves. From what I have seen MAINTENANCE went to hell, that isnt exactly what I call a PRESIDENTIAL FUNCTION. jdn
