I was expressing my displeasure at those radio hosts... Laura Ingrahm... Sean O Hannity...Rush Limbaugh Neal Bork... or Borch or whomever...Bill O Reilly... Someone named Beck... These are the voices that flood the airways and are listened to by friends of mine who believe everything they say. They and financial stations are ALL that are available here in Sarasota Fl. Regarding the sites you posted on S.I. I like View from Center as the newspapers,magazines and other articles supporting positions are posted..all from various news sources. And I think that it is rather childish to go there and lift posts take them to another thread where fun is poked at the author... This to me is more disappointing than someone taking a position . This is why I left the thread that you had started and Sully has now. Malicious attacks on someones integrity.. Regarding the Sioux's thread... Anyone can post there without getting attacked as far as I know. Yes it is a Democratic thread. However, I go to and read PFP... It is completely the other way. There are some good things posted there by LB... I read them. Try to get a feel for both sides or arguments.. Does anyone person really have ALL THE ANSWERS.. To read some sites one would think so... The other's you mention I have not visited nor read...And Raymond Drury goes back to 2003... when he was excluded from S.I. It's not fair to mention him as he is old news. The Dixie chicks are great like their singing. I never hear Al Franken... I do not hear Air America I think one needs satellite radio... Michael Moore it seems was active about four years ago and I have not heard or see a film of his since then. HOWEVER, Every day I am pounded.. if I listen to the local radio... by those I mention and at night too. Cannot even find a station as Matt Drudge gets the airways at night and Michael Medved.. Just tell me where the position that is opposite to what those radio hosts I mention are available on radio.. All the radio hosts have I mentioned here.. are calling Democrats liberals, spitting out the word as Communists were once . The only one who is possible moderate is Borch.. or Bork... ( Bill will tell me how to spell it ) and he is a identified Libertarian.. I ONLY GET THOSE PERSONS WHOM I MENTIONED.. Is that fair ? Inundated with only one group of voices... No opposition until I come to S.I and read posted articles.. I don't know what you mean by LIBERAL LOVE....Is love a bad word too ? Our positions differ. It is as simple as that.. I do disappoint but then so do others.. We are all not saints.. I think some are misguided as they do me. IN all the years I have been on S.I. I have only seen one person's mind changed.. and then only slightly and with regard to the war. As far as Conservatives not seeing how our country is going bankrupt and how this war is effecting our debt.. I cannot grasp.. I have always been for LESS GOVERNMENT.. and FISCAL responsibility. I don't see this as anything the Bush administration has practiced.. WE have more and more government. However, I am not here to debate that .. My gripe has been the overwhelming number of Conservative radio hosts who distort the facts to suit their messages.. If you want a truly representative person who speaks for my sentiments and expresses them better than I ever could it would be Cnydwllr... on this thread. I come here essentially to read him and his rational posts. To get angry and attack is only leading to more divisiveness in this Country and boy, it surely is abounding now. In all my life I have never seen a Country so divided. Quite different from after 911... when we were all one and unified. What did this... Could it possibly be President Bush, his policies and the war...? I would be for and vote for anyone whom I thought was honest.... who would not lie to me... who would have an open mind to reconciliation with other countries.. Who would carry a big stick but who would not be eager to use it. Find me a person like that. And while we are at it.. What is it that you believe and why do you support Bush the way that you do... I find that Democrats were willing to admit that Clinton besmirched the White House... and was wrong.. But I never never read anyone who says the President is wrong.. Never.. No matter what he does it's like blind faith.. It would be much more acceptable if at times one could find a criticism of him by the other side.
