Lets review a little history here.

Last Sept GM was expected to report $.49 and they reported $.93

Last june $.55 was expected and $2.03 was reported

For the Dec. Quarter $1.19 is expected and recently GM announce that +200 Million will be added to this quarter because of accounting changes.

GM is not entirely out of the woods, but they are being underestimated by a lot of talking heads.
