The candidates will all say of course he shouldn't be pardoned since he hurt the integrity of the White House. Bush will wait until after the poll, then pardon Libby by saying he was serving the high, noble goal of defending the homeland. I have not seen any indication they care about lying or bending and breaking laws to achieve that end. Most are proud of what the courts have let them get away with. Libby got busted; Bush will fix that. Then Bush will go back to being taken care of by rich Republican friends, just like he has all his life. They will stand up and cheer when he pardons Libby the true patriot.
