This is my rebuttal to all the doomsayer-clash-of-civilization crowd like Steve. How do they reconcile their view that Muslims just want to take over the world and kill every non-Muslim with the historic evidence to the contrary? That is really funny. The 'historic' evidence includes the gates of Vienna, Andalusia, the bloody Muslim incursion into India, the bloody subjugation of the pagans in the Arabian peninsula, the bloody incursion into Andalusia, etc., which you can fast-forward without too much change to 9/11, London, Madrid, etc., etc., ad nauseum and ad infinitum. The flaw in your thinking, a flaw I've noted throughout your posting history, is that you consider one tiny aspect of things as 'proof' of something else. All they 'prove' is the individual particular case, not the general thrust. In other words, your bias, your bassackwards way of thinking, requires that your predetermined conclusion be supported by the facts. Since the general thrust of them do not support your conclusions, you use the anomaly, the odd example, as 'proof' of something regardless of the overwhelming number of counterexamples and the thrust of the overall facts. It is a typically Middle Eastern way of thinking and a good example of why the Muslim ME is so royally screwed up. This way of thinking has lead you to propose that Denmark, er, Iran, is a democratic paradise, one to which Jews are emigrating en masse. Who, really, do you think you're fooling other than yourself? What a joke.
