Oh for heaven's sake. Byrd is a Democrat, he can say what he wants and the media won't crucify him. People in the Media in general have a strong left wing slant. Anyone on the left has to be twice as good and 3 times as careful, because the left wing media will crucify them. That is one of the facts of life. You win elections by understanding the rules. This lady knew better, and knew she couldn't get away with it. If she was a left wing Journalist, they would have simply said it was comedy. She isn't, and if she can't figure out the rules, better she goes and works for the left, than screws up the message of the right. The Republicans have all the problems they need just getting something rational across. They don't need so called conservatives being labelled as bigots. The next election will be won by next march or april, getting the message out is the priority.
