Yes, the issue has to be brought up cautiously and tangentially (as in, "I'm not sure she's guilty, and here's why..."), since a judge can hold someone in contempt of court for advocating that the jurors disregard the bench's instructions. There are many people (on both sides of the political spectrum) who would be happy to report a fellow juror for advocating nullification, just to see someone get taken down for being a thoughtful dissenter. Such people may in fact be a majority of Americans- our country is becoming less free by the minute by popular demand.
