And all of that is fine as long as you don't think your "only defense" is to "happily sacrifice some fools life to ensure the safety of my own possessions"...as you previously wrote. Like I said, you'll be imprisoned for a very long time if you take that approach. Detain the guy running off with your TV until the authorities arrive...if he escapes, oh well....but if you kill them, get your orange jumpsuit ready.
