No, but I can just imagine, AMD was chomping at the bit to get the deal, but held off several times looking for a better one. Probably not as good a deal as Intel had...

i would expect that dell demanded the same or better terms from amd that they had with intel and many of their other suppliers.

one of those was supplier-held bonded inventory on dell premises.

so when only when dell draws from supplier stock does the part hit dell's books. with an efficient manufacturing line the component should only be on dell's books 24-36hrs.
