Knee jerk anything is a problem. If you aren't thinking, does it really matter what you believe in? Although you'd think knee jerkers would be the hardest to sway, if they believe what they believe without having examined it, it's rather easy to flip them to something else. The knee jerkers of all beliefs have a tremendous amount in common, which is ironic, since they always fight so much with each other. But they have nothing in common with the middle, the moderates, and the people who try to understand things. It's not, imo, a left or a right wing problem- both sides have people who believe what they believe as if it were religion, and they were forced to take a leap of faith.

I think there is no better proof that someone didn't say something than seeing there is no record of him saying it, and when he comes out and says I didn't say that, that's icing on the cake. I mean what better proof is there? At that point the burden, that was never really on the person to "prove" he didn't say what he didn't say, is completely and totally shifted to the other side, which just looks stupid, by that point.

Most of them listen to the right wing talk guys who've made an art out of creating straw men. When challenged, they rub their hands together and gleefully proclaim that no one's provided proof that they're wrong.

LOL, what a typical excercise in mental masturbation.

I said Joe Wilson was a) unqualified b) got the gig from his wife, though he denied it many times (tho you seem to think that his lies that don't appear in the original op-ed don't count) c) said he found NOTHING when in fact, he did find something, as related to the SIC d) said that he proved uranium was never sought despite the evidence he found that it had been e) deliberately used his conclusion that yellowcake had never been purchased to "prove" that it had never been sought f) said his trip was routine, tho he never filed a report except in the NYT, lol g) said that Cheney knew all about it his trip, when he knew as well as anyone in DC that he was just about the last man on earth Cheney would have picked to go, since he was already part of Kerry's campaign.

These are the falsehoods of Joe Wilson. You have not refuted a single one, unless you count insults as refutation.
