True, nonetheless by and large Western laws have remained very compatible with main stream Christianity: eg. abortion, polygamy, homosexuality, public nudity, marrying one's cousin, etc, etc. And yet this does not stop people to complain why Islamic societies seek to keep their laws compatible with their religion.
