I don't think that's off the wall at all. You make some very good points IMO. I don't think that Republicans should adopt all of the tactics Dem's use (particularly the smarmy ones like lies, deceit & treachery). But they need to learn to work better in the environment they currently find themselves. << "Republicans need to learn to make their positions sexy." >> True enough. They need to get better at articulating those points in catchy sound bites too. But most of what they have to say publicly won't matter all that much because the MSM will never give them a full, fair or accurate platform to do so. I think they need to speak out loudly & frequently about that every time a journalist puts a microphone in front of them. They should produce some very slick, yet thoroughly accurate ads out there to supplement their POV too. They also need to do exactly the same thing regarding the lies, misinformation & treachery we regularly see from lib politicians & in the media. I think that if they made a concerted, relentless effort on those fronts it would force the issue to be debated widely & publicly. At least then Republicans would have a chance to expose the dark underbelly of Dem politics & the very compliant liberal MSM. One of the reasons threads like this, others on SI & elsewhere on the internet are so popular is because conservatives want to know what is really going on. They want to know the unvarnished truth. They want to make up their minds only after gaining a reality based understanding of the issues, but they know they aren't getting that from the "newz". And one of the reasons so many conservative threads harp on those issues here is because we are fed up with all of that BS.
