As far as the recent shrinkage of Christians, I don't know off hand what would have caused that. Those numbers are dramatic.....are you certain they're correct? At any rate, when the Christian population shrinks to 0.22%, that gives the lie to any argument about "religious freedom" and "protection of Christians" in Tunisia. You're clinging to the notion of religious persecution when most likely the shrinkage is simply due to lack of business opportunity for Western Christians. However, I would agree that being part of a tiny Christian minority in an Islamic nation is not appealing. In fact, it would frighten the heck out of me....it only takes one religious wacko even tho the govt. might call for tolerance and want to 'protect' me.
