When will all the wide eyed , i believe in flag and country 18 year old types, i will enlist to fight for the war against terrorism; realize to the power boys they are just a body to be used, a pawn in the games they play. Talk about sick, in my area, a marine that enlisted and went to Iraq came back home in a state classified as PVS. So at a town meeting in a dark blue town the local gung ho Bush is Great spoke up that this soldier was coming home and that she had arranged to have his ambulance move slowly through town led by a Full Color Guard and the local high school marching band with them. That she arranged that the schools be let out at this time to attend this honoring of their brave soldier and to think on how important our mission in Iraq is to the preservation of freedom in america, and think on this soldiers brave sacrifice for our freedom. So what were people to say, cancel this Propaganda usage of the boy for her far far right politcs???? No, they couldn't, the town got railroaded, so there you had a PVS soldier moving through town with all this pomp and ceremony. Where he was summarily deposited in his parents small home for them to care for until he fades away, sometime, maybe years from now, as his persisistent vegetative state has no time limit. i didn't attend, you can be sure--and many many refused to attend this blatant use of a catastrophically damaged soldier to sell this war. Did this PVS soldier pay that price for nothing, you are damned right he paid this price for NOTHING--that the blody truth. Obama said something about the lives being wasted in Iraq, and THEN APOLOGIZED for saying that: i say why the hell apologize Obama?? He, Obama, is already being taught how to behave by the powers which means you never say "lives wasted for a foolhardy cause" EVER. Not in this here U.S.A.! Cripes!!!!! Max
