has infected large parts of the conservative movement and the Republican Party. That's a shame, since there are plenty of good people in both.

Amen to that. Let's hope they come to the fore again in the coming shakeout on the right.

Great post JohnM and I would like to move it over to the Foreign Affairs thread... There is someone posting there who turned against Bush but only briefly after the Katrina debacle.

Since then all that seems to have been forgotten. The sad thing is that she recruited a lot of votes for Bush in both elections getting all of her friends to vote for him.

Now he has her in his back pocket again. I don't know what it is about those Republican conseratives. They just cannot stop
whorshipping at the alter of Bush&Co,..not matter what the man does.

Do you notice that Fox does not report how S.A. is treating Bush's arrival with demonstrations that require tear gas
and clubs....
