Both HKEPC and pc.watch.impress roadmaps which report these
price cuts show 45 nm Penryn coming somewhere in Q1 2008.

It's the Xeons which are expected to be introduced in Q4, 2008.
The literal quote from last weeks server announcement is:

"Bringing production on 45nm technology into the fourth quarter for servers"

The highest clocked Penryns are to be sold in the same
$240-$320 price range in the Q1 2008 time frame according
to the roadmaps.
