Hey longnshort, do you know how peer review works in the scientific community? Scientists form hypotheses and then they test them. Then they publish the results with an open invitation for other scientists to duplicate the tests and results to confirm the findings. This has been done repeatedly on all the major climate change experiments. There is no longer any doubt among peer reviewed scientists that global warming is real and that humans are a significant contributing factor. The only people who don't believe it are those that are caught up in the propaganda spewed out by the oil companies and the scientists bought and paid for by them. I understand why you might be confused and think it's all a big scam. The masses are easy to confuse with FUD. Fortunately, folks like yourself are now in the minority. So we can actually make some progress on this issue. Question for you, longnshort. Forget about climate change for a second. Are you for the US getting off of our oil dependence? Or do you see no need for that?
