Intolerance and hate would be a non-issue if they did not cause death and destruction. That is the end result that matters.

Say what?

Intolerance and hate are evil in their own right, regardless of any death and destruction they may cause.

What you have said suggests that hate and intolerance are evil only if death and destruction are the result. I cannot emphasize strongly enough how silly and dangerous such thinking is.
