Although I posted that article on GPXM you linked, IMO it is riddled by factual errors. It also came out later that the author is Peter Spina, who apparently has some ties to WEX, which casts great doubt on his analytical skills. Winn-Eldritch, whose head honcho is apparently institutionalized due to the ravages of old age, has repeatedly failed to come through on the agreements they have just signed, either through incompetence or willful obstructionism. This is already going to cost WEX another 9.5% of the Ashdown LLC according to the agreement they signed late last year, and may end up costing them the rest of their share as well.

Apparently Spina met with GPXM at PDAC, so I am hoping he follows up on his promise to do more research and this time write a more factual article.

Bottom line: the current management at GPXM took over an incompetently run company and through hard work and smarts have managed to bring Ashdown into production in spite of an obstructionist incompetent JV partner. I expect a lot from this company going forward as they expand production at Ashdown to 100 tpd and use the resulting cash to produce a certified reserve report for Ashdown, bring Mineral Ridge back into production, and start to explore their Northern Champion moly property in Ontario.

Spend some time on the GPXM website at www.golden-phoenix.com. IMO it is the best website of any junior mining company, and a thorough perusal -- don't miss the Chat Shack -- will give you great insight into what it takes to build a mine and mill.
