Fox News is an arm of the GOP corporate rightwing. Their chief Roger Aisles is a close Bush-Cheney team member who helped them steal the election in 2000. There is an unwritten rule at Fox News that unless you are a rightwing ideologue, don't even apply for a job, except a few token liberals they allow on panels to debate issues.

Fox News's Tony Snow sequed to being Bush's mouthpiece without missing a beat. It was a natural role for him, lying and covering up for Bush-Cheney. O'Reilly, Gibson and Hannity are their three big guns, all big-time rightwing water-carriers for Bush-cheney. Brit Hume gave up his journalistic credibility by soft-balling the GOP right. The Beltway Boys are two conservatives who agree on almost everything. Ultra rightwing Iran-Contra figire Ollie North even has his own show. Kasich does too. Coulter, Gingrich and Malkin are frequent guests. The smearvets were given huge amounts of free airtime which should be a criminal offense. There is not a single moderate or progressive with his own show.

So how can you say Fox is "fair" or "balanced", they are the opposite of that, which is why the entire democratic party is now openly boycotting them. Ailes comment that Obama is the same as Osama was the final straw, but Fox News should have been publicly boycotted five years ago.
