It's "Safe as houses"! This ain't no dot-com.<g> I wonder how many people's retirement are tied to these bonds? A retired friend I have gets an annuity based on putting all her money into a subprime mortgage investment in CA. She lives on the return as a monthly stipend, very modestly, in asian buddhist monastaries as she travels the region.
