I am surprised that anyone would think his current poll numbers will hold once the campaigns get under-way full bore.

Also surprised that someone 'too liberal for NY' would be considered ripe for knocking off the Republican nomination.

(Although he *might* have some new kind of viable game plan in a general election --- perhaps being newly competitive in California or New Jersey or some such... while writing off large portions of the South --- he would have to GET PAST all of the other Republican Party candidates first before any of that could matter.)
