re: your comments regarding Texas rules for vaccinating against a sex-transmitted virus......Our state is wrangling with the same issue. I have no position on this particular thing, given my stage of life and where my kids are in life at this moment, but many people do. It's quite controversial, and really doesn't have much to do with the comments I posted, anyway. But YOU brought it up, so.....

I think I MIGHT side with the parents who say they don't want their government to determine what type of medical intervention their kids might need or want against this virus. How 'bout if we maintain the right to keep trying to educate the kids at home about the issue and avoid government intervention? As a parent and a taxpayer, that sounds good to me.

Maybe you raised a good point, though.......that someone somewhere is always looking to government and taxpayers to take care of their personal problems and lack of personal responsibility.
