I believe you have your countries mixed up again. Plame did work oversees in Brussels but returned to the states in 1997.

Libby wasn't convicted of outing Plame. If Plame was ever undercover it was so long ago, revealing her name wouldn't haveeen a crime. Not that Libby did that. Armitage did.

Libby was convicted in a case with no underlying crime. Convicted of he said - she said perjury. Most witnesses in the case had the same sort of conflicts in statements Libby did so reasonably could just as easily could have been the charged.

Libby was found guilty because the biased jury wanted to find someone from the Bush administration guilty of something, anything.
