this movie is the biggest setback to PC and Hollywood liberalism in decades

I suspect they thought it was just another dumb comic book. They didn't realize how Frank Miller is worshiped by younger filmmakers who grew up on his comic books. Nobody knew Miller's politics, but all you had to do was read him.

This is a huge cultural event. Biggest movie since Matrix. People voted with their feet. They went. in massive numbers.

i see all sorts of new games, Spartans and Persians, but instead of toy guns they'll sell plastic shields and swords. But boys can still hack each other up. Oops, boys and girls.

I hear audience's applaud. I hear the epithet "rousing" applied. How long since anybody's felt anything much less "roused" by a movie?

This is how The Alamo should be done. The media's apoplectic. I'm ROFLMAO.
