Yes, that's fine for those like you and I understand that, but to the vast majority of viewers, what is said on TV or printed must be true. People believe that you can't lie in such medium, and therefore they swallow it hook, line, and sinker. It is why journalists in the past few decades were so careful about 'journalistic integrity'. They saw their own legacy of yellow journalism, and the harm it did, and tried to become more responsible. Unfortunately, Murdock has blown a huge hole in these efforts and reopened Pandora's box. This time, it contained little hope...
