Shorty, where did I EVER say Reagan was not a conservative? Find me a link, please.

Reagan stood for most traditional conservative principles. He cut taxes (but then he signed tax increases - and this because he believed in balanced budgets...another strike on Mr. Bush). Reagan did believe in smaller government, in personal liberties, and after Lebanon, he was pretty darn careful about getting our troops into long-standing foreign entanglements.

Reagan had a democratic congress to work with, and he did work with them. He made progress on his principles.....

I hope no one tries to compare George W. Bush to Ronald Reagan. The comparison to Harry Truman is hard enough to take.
