The United States doesn't use "popular vote," it uses the Electoral College according to the Constitution, and it has been from the start, this is to presume that gore actually won the popular vote... but to answer your question, we would be in a far worse position right now... en.wikipedia.org It's a widely know fact that the dummycrats have been trying to change America to fit their socialist/communist agenda, but it won't work, the American people are much smarter than that, and you'll see that in action once again come election day for the next President...
