If Roubini, whom I think is very good, had supported his arguments with a little more than "they" were wrong on the subprime issues two months ago and "they" are therefore wrong with regard to the general credit market now, I would be more inclined to pay more attention.

There will undoubtedly be some repercussions to the general credit market, but other than sympathetic pessimism, I have not seen anyone relate a credible chain of causation leading to a meltdown.
