Are there alternatives to open pit mining? I know that province in Argentina is poor and needs the revenue...so it is a bit surprising.

A few years ago I was in Mendoza which has also banned open pit mining. But Mendoza is a wine growing region and makes money on tourism...so no big deal for that province to ban it.

As I said I own a small amount of it and actually sold some to buy more edv.to last week,as edv just seems like such a no brainer to me. I sold my urz and Dje.v and purchased producer DML.TO. as well as holding on to my NWI and TRDM and of course STM.V. I do think YGI should turn out ok but its certainly speculative whereas DML.TO and STM.V have what I deem to be proven resources.
