First shut down the coal-firing stations and replace them with Nukes. Then make cars more fuel efficient and equip them with technology to sequester CO2. Next encourage people to use public transit by making it FREE, developing the transit infrastructure and taxing commuters (like they did in London). Make gasoline very expensive by taxing it. Revenues from the gas tax can be used to develop public transit and fund R&D efforts to make vehicles more fuel efficient. Impeach and jail GWB and all his cronies. His wasteful war in Iraq is a massive carbon burning exercise. So you favour nuclear power over coal generation? Have you any plan to deal with the Nuclear waste? Let us raise the standards first on every public vehicle, and then worry about the cars of the little guys. I like the idea of making public transit free, at the end you talk about George Bush, he isn't a Canadian problem, fortunately, but how about Hanging Jean chretien and paul martin and the entire Liberal Cabinet, for signing Kyoto and then not doing anything about it for years and years.imagine if when Kyoto was signed we had had a responsible government who actually started working on the problem.
