The US views Turkey as a key ally. As a consequence carving Kurdistan out of Iraq, although a sensible thought in my opinion, is unlikely to occur since the northern half of Kurdistan is southern Turkey. Turkey has already made clear their eternal wrath should this happen. .

"the US population would eagerly" buy an "embrace a clearly and accurately defined manichean agenda" sold by the media. It is all about manipulation of the populaces. I don't mean only US polulace I mean populcaes all over te world. Just discover how they tick and sell them what they would buy into.
