I agree with you regarding Jesse. He certainly didn't end his life happily. Also he bet heavily if he thought he was right and to me that would be a lot of stress for my financial being depended on a stock pick. I do like the idea that he stressed keeping records, learning from your mistakes, and I picked up some things from him regarding reading raw data. So much can be learned if you study that. If I see a stock moving up, I always check the raw data before I jump in for with some of the small float stocks, they'll jump .10 or more on 100 shares and if you just looked at the current price you might put more significance to that price than it should be with it having jumped and only moving on 100 shares. Moves like that usually come right back down. Another thing I've started doing since I've read him is once I have a partial position, I don't just add if it drops, I add on strength for that means that the stock is doing what I expected.
