Rent-a-Superpower is a very useful strategy, and one can do it on the cheap by "supporting" your run of the mill senators for a modest sum.

Plus, without the US backing Israel to the hilt there may be a chance for some kind of agreement that would hold. There is no honest broker with any power.

Since we're neither honest or brokering anything, nothing gets done. Israel remains locked inside a cement Berlin wall and another generation lives in misery.

At some point the entire world will get sick to death of the constant nattering and whining. I think that time is near.
