I'm just looking at the practical result of the policies you propose. UH?? I proposing discussion about what of all possible means, might end up with a peaceful ME. Thinking outside the box so to speak. How does this bring about the worlds end? Homocidal mono-culturalism seems more there ticket; I see no evidence that Jewish culture can be anything but mono-culturalism either IF it wishes to be a democratic state. This is the most important thing to discuss IMO. In particular, regarding US ethical & moral standing, I'd like to read a good book or scholarly paper that address this issue, hopefully in general, not specific to the ME. How should the modern world of western democracy relate to the establishment of ethnic states and what guidelines should we expect of such states? Having lived in ethnically controlled states, I have an interest in such things. I think you need someone to lean on you until this reality dawns. Please tell me how you see the ME evolving and what policies will achieve the future you expect. If your strategy relies on either of these two: 1) Arab culture radically changes, they accept Israeli dominance of the region, including all of Jerusalem, and eventually become loving neighbors without any significant change in Jewish behavior, or 2) Israel simply stays a step or two ahead in terms of the security/threat situation in the ME, with occasional wars to deal with the likes of Iran for specific threats, while walling themselves off from the rest of the ME. then I strongly suspect that you will be in for a very rude surprise at some point in the future, although it may be you children or grandchildren who are thusly surprised.
