Doesn't surprise me one bit. All the evidence is there for anyone with eyes to see. I remember at the beginning of the war, I thought the best way to ensure participation of the Iraqi people in the new government was to take a census and give every citizen a share of the oil reservices. That would've created a true democracy and would have stifled the insurgency. I even wrote a letter to my Congressman about it. Of course, that was a nonstarter with the Bush administration, because they don't want the Iraqi people to share the wealth. They want Exxon to share in the wealth. Now it's open for all the world to see. Oil is the root of all the evil coming from and to this country. We need to get off the oil. The sooner we do it, the better for us and the world at large.
