Geeze! You never heard about the billions in bribes Saddam handed out from the Oil for Food scam? You know where he bribed the French, the Russians, the UN, China, Germany & others to keep the US, the UK, ET AL, from actually enforcing the Gulf War Cease Fire Agreement?

The best example of French diplomacy is the agreement they got from the Israelis to end the last war with lebanon. They got israel to Cease fire, so the French Speaking Lebanese could break every single condition of the ceasefire under French Supervision and even threatened to shoot down Israeli Planes if the israelis didn't stop watching the rearmament.
