Profit gouging is gouging no matter the industry

But how is 10% profit margin, during the good times in a cyclical industry gouging?

And there is only one MSFT but there are close to ten XOM's

Which is more of a reason to go after MSFT rather than the oil companies. (Note: I am not in this post arguing for any action against MSFT)

Senate Democrats' budget leaves war funding intact
By Richard Wolf, USA TODAY
WASHINGTON — Senate Democrats will unveil a 2008 budget today that would boost spending for uninsured children, students and veterans without cutting funds for defense or the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

The budget also would not roll back any of President Bush's tax cuts after 2010, when they are set to expire. It says the tax cuts can be extended if they are paid for.

that's a heck of a nuance to say Exxon is bad because you think gasoline is a shade more important than Windows software.

reminds me of saying clinton didn't commit perjury based upon why the perjury was committed.

but maybe it's just me and liberals are right, who you are should be more important than anything else when determining right or wrong.
