Mish, one of these charts you posted had a H&S top on the civilian participation rate that targets 64.5%. The other chart I noticed, the unemployment chart, has a "mirror" pattern I've found very reliable. That pattern suggests 7.5-7.8% unemployment within 4-years, but more likely within 3-years.

This is in line with the my projections of the worst recession since the early 80's.

By the way, crash value suggests that whatever happens, the summer 2004 lows in the SPX, NDX, COMP, and Dow should hold going forward regardless of what happens. Sorry to rain on the superbears <G>
