Lee, Thanks for your insight. As my wife and I age, we are seeing the benefits of NOT moving in retirement - even though we live in a really high priced area (Annapolis, Maryland), all our friends, doctors and family are nearby (except one in Utah). We have seen over and over again, retired couples moving south and getting trapped.... wishing they were back again. My thought is, if you have to move... then move. If you don't, then don't. Otherwise, I think you learn fast what the real cost of putting the buck first is! IMHO and all those caveats.
