FIRE their @ss and hire someone who will gladly work..
An ILLEGAL ought to do it...

The only reason i can think of a company keeping someone who would refuse to ring up a product they sell is because they cannot replace the person due to tight labor market. the company is prepared to offend some customers vs offend many because of lack of help.

in cases where bc is refused to ring up there must be someone else as backup in the store to ring up the sale.

In regressive towns and villages, there might well be nobody to ring up the sale. What if everyone in the store belongs to the Christian Taliban? What then?
