I love Silicon Valley. Leave it to these guys to turn the energy industry on its head. It's about time. We're about to see the Democratization of energy, after decades of oligarchic companies and governments ruling the roost. And incidentally, the quickest way to bring Democracy to the Middle East is not through war, but through the Democratization of the oil commodity. Drive that price back down to $20 per barrel or below and provide competitive alternatives that keep it there and we'll see that the Middle East will have no choice but to take more interest in the development of the Arab and Persian people and other industries instead of simply the development of their oil industry only. Dictators lose power quickly when they don't have much money to bribe people with.
