The repo pool has been huge since Feb. There is liquidity problem somewhere.

Vi, you make a critical point on the crowding into these trades. I'd guess almost all the over-trading bunch are involved to some degree with what you describe. I can imagine that the Pig Men are hard at work looking for "off balance sheet" fall guys to inject their loser Old Maid Cards into. Then they can hide the damage and claim their shit doesn't smell.

Also note the Pig Men run stories like this one on the "opportunities" in subprime. These are covering rackets designed as balm so the cognoscenti wil think we are at some bottoming inflection point in an otherwise collapsing pyramid scheme.
