this Morning. Could they be holding the bag there too? They
have been putting market orders to buy tons of spoos today.

That's because many Wall Street firms are now full of young (<35) arrogant MBA's who think the market can only go up and every dip should be bought. They are going to get their heads handed to them on a paper plate.

It's not clear that they will be left holding the bag. The ultimate bag holder may very well be the US taxpayer. Note how one presidential candidate is already talking about using tax money to help the poor sub-prime mortgage holders.
