Well, one can buy calls on a day like today. Your risk is your
premium. But I agree, I would not be invested in this market.
I'm in ST treasuries and physical gold, looking for an
opportunity to get some more gold on a selloff. This
stock market is very overpriced, and heavily manipulated,
which means extremely high long-term risk.

If something
like a crash does happen (failure of manipulation will result
in a crash, since there are no bears left),
I'm sure this Fed will print like
there is no tomorrow. They might just try to print through
this mess in mortgages. That's what they have been doing.
Don't fight the Fed. 17 Billion in TIO, 10 billion in repos to
the banks today to help stabilize the stock market.
