Exactly!!!!!! COMPETITION for oil is a much bigger threat to our energy based national security concerns than terrorism is.

Actually I've been paying close attention to that. It is an important subject worthy of in depth discussion. IMO, unless US changes its ways, within a decade or so, we will not be able to buy oil on open markets so easily.

But this has nothing to do with US "defense" of the world's oil supply...well actually it does, but not the in way that the right wing understands it.
