Hi Ork:

Life has been terrific. Spending more time building airplanes and less time messing with the markets. (g)

Had a good year in 2006. It was on its way to being a great year, but did my usual thing by being (as always) too "earlie" putting the techs. Fortunately the puts on the home builders and mortgage providers, as well as the long gold positions worked well, so no complaints at year end.

This year, I have concentrated on bringing a junior gold issue to market so haven't had much time for much else. Why this change of pace? This market has been fed so much liquidity that it currently sneers at most bad news. This had made it difficult to make money on the short side. As well, short squeezes have become an art form on Wall St so I am doing the "no-brainer" thing and concentrating on the gold sector. Besides which, I was looking for a change of pace so decided to try my hand at something totally new.

I do "lurk" a bit on this site but not on a regular basis. It still seems to be one of the few sites that has solid content and useful info.

Best,
Earlie
