i think that would be consistent with what i posted a few days ago. shorting (or buying puts) while holding the october note paper to ensure that no renegotiation occurs would allow the holder of the note to make out on the short (or put) due to the dilution while getting payback on the note of 50% of the stock proceeds.

sounds like it's underway...

That sounds like illegal trading on inside info.
Can't be if it is illegal !!
