Lies. Kerry never said "we" were anything, he merely stated the truth, that Vietnam had gotten so insane by 1971 that some of our troops, often following orders and sometimes not (see the My Lai massacre) were flipping out on the battlefield and commiting atrocities. Kerry also rightly considered such "normal" Nixon policies like dropping Agent Orange, free fire zones and hootch-burning to be atrocities. Do you disagree?
Those three policies killed 95% innocent people and devastated farms, losing hearts and minds and getting more US troops killed as a result of the anger they caused.

Further, Kerry's missions into Cambodia were part of Nixon's secret war and the CIA's Phoenix Program. This was an assassination program. With extreme prejudice. It was very brutal and terrifying. That was its whole purpose. Terrorism.

What you and smearvet types are claiming is a huge lie and cover up. First of all, you are blaming the messenger. Second you are lying that Kerry made any of this stuff up or that it was his opinion. It was all stuff he experienced or was told by his brothers in arms that had happened to them. Third, you are assuming that Vietnam by 1971 was not totally immoral and insane, which it was. Ask anyone with a brain who was there during that period. And finally, you are assuming that someone who wants to end an bloody, hopeless and unjust war is against the troops. In fact just the opposite is true in Kerry's case.
