Splitting hairs to find slight questions about someone's speeches over a 45 year period is silly. Kerry is a very honest man, brutally honest usually. If you want lies just turn on Fox News and watch for five minutes. Or watch anyone in the Bush administration or their pundit friends. Or just listen to yourself. Kerry threw his ribbons and medals of a wheelchair-bound vet over the fence as a very painful but powerful gesture. He did not distinguish between ribbons and metal medals. The GOP attack machine did. And the GOP attack machine has been wrong and dishonest about John Kerry in every way ever since 1971 when Nixon ordered Kerry "destroyed". But even then they could not find a single blemish on Kerry's record.
